International sports events have significant value, such as providing people with excitement, emotions, dreams and hopes, and creating connections between them. Through the World Athletics Championships and the Deaflympics to be held in 2025, we have outlined the vision that Tokyo aims for to create Tokyo’s future through the power of sports. We will continue the legacy of the Tokyo 2020 Games and open new fields.
